Your voice isn't the problem. Your body is still holding something.
You've trained. You've worked hard. You've pushed through. And yet, in the moments that matter most, something holds back. A tightness. A ceiling you can't break through. A voice that works perfectly at home and disappears on stage.
This isn't a technique problem. This is your body protecting you.
And it can be released.
Evidence-based. Trauma-informed. Designed for the artist who is ready to finally feel free.
Does this sound familiar?
Every note feels like a battle rather than an opening.
You're trying so hard, but the harder you try, the more locked it feels.
Your throat feels tight, fatigued, or sore after performing.
You know exactly what you want to do artistically. Your body just won't take the instruction.
Your voice works beautifully at home. In the room that matters, it disappears.
None of this means you lack talent. It means your body is holding something that technique alone was never designed to reach.
THE RELEASE METHOD
A complete reset for the singer who is ready to stop managing tension, and start releasing it for good.
REGULATE
The Foundation
Before anything else, we create safety. Your nervous system needs to know it can let go. Through simple, science-backed practices we settle the body, so that what comes next can actually land.
RELEASE
The Physical Shift
With the system calm, we go into the body. Using myofascial release and somatic work, we unwind what's been held, in the jaw, the neck, the chest, the places you've learned to brace without noticing. This is where the real opening happens.
REBUILD
The New Baseline
Now we sing. From a body that is open, not guarded. We bring your technique onto this new foundation, and what emerges is a voice that is reliable, resonant, and free. Even under pressure. Even in the room that matters most.

FROM LABORATORY TO STAGE

I spent the first chapter of my life in science. Studying Reproductive Biology and Immunology. Graduating with honours. Working in medical research. Fascinated by one question above all others: how does the body protect itself?
But underneath all of it, I was fighting a silent battle with my own voice.
In 2023 I made the most terrifying decision of my life. I left my career, packed up my two children, and moved to London to study Musical Theatre. Because I couldn't ignore what I knew I was meant to do any longer.
In the rehearsal room I finally had a name for what I'd been experiencing. My voice was locked. Tight, fatigued, held behind a wall of tension that technique alone couldn't reach.
As a scientist I couldn't just accept "nerves" as an answer. So I went looking for the real one.
What I found changed everything. Vocal tension isn't a talent problem. It's a biological response. The nervous system guarding the voice to keep you safe. And when you understand that, when you work with the body instead of pushing against it, something extraordinary happens.
Your voice opens. Not because you fixed it. Because you finally stopped fighting it.
That's what I built The Release Method for. And it's why I believe the industry needs to change, from pushing through, to actually thriving.
